Il notebook ibrido con cui Microsoft si appresta a sfidare Apple e gli altri marchi produttori di personal computer, il Surface Book, è già disponibile in preordine negli Stati Uniti. Il prezzo per il modello base è di 1.499 dollari, mentre la versione entry level presenta un processore Intel Core i5, 8 GB di memoria RAM e un SSD da 128 GB. Per la variante top di gamma (processore Intel Core i7, 16 GB di memoria RAM, 512 GB di SSD ed una GPU dedicata realizzata da Nvidia) sono necessari 2.699 dollari. Comunicazioni ufficiali in merito ai prezzi e alle date relative al mercato italiano non ci sono ancora.
